Designed with the same slim cabinet and same profile as the DB10, the DB10 SUB allows the sound designer to build a “Wall” of front cinema speakers. Featuring two 200×200 VESA mounting points, the subwoofer can be installed vertically and horizontally, both behind screen and further within the room. A heavy duty, hand built 10” Sub bass driver with a high linear excursion features a double stacked magnet system. The driver is an improved version of a design once used in a famous studio range of British active subwoofers. This driver along with the transmission line low noise flared port results in an efficient, high SPL design with a response down to low 20Hz region. When used in an array configuration with multiple front subwoofers, both a higher SPL and lower response curve can be achieved.
